So i hadnt built a paintball gun in a while. I did almost all the work on this on my PC a week or so ago, then my PC went “I canna hold it anymore captain!” zzzzapdie and i went “Arrrgh you piece of #%&*^# i hate you, go to hell!”.
I was morose because i had no blender, and my blend files were stuck on my NTFS formatted drive in my PC case, of which the drive integrity was in question.
Then suddenly i remembed. About 3 days before my PC pulled its star trek 3, i had burned ALLLLLL my blender stuff including 200mb worth of textures, and all my apps and programs to a fat DVD. So i pulled the Factory F/A that i was dying to play with, and fired up the amazingly stable on OSX 2.29 and finished it off.
Ah well, you can see my chrome settings in that screenshot. I usually crank ref, crank spec, then add an image texture and just pick some random image (usually a funny picture of me) and set it to refl mapping. Toggle csp and cmir and drop col and var. Viola, chrome with fakie envmap.
