tips for creating a material with a node tree like this of the amphore?

Hi,
I am new with Cycles Render.
Do you have any tips to make a material looking like this?
Do I need a noise texture, a color ramp and how to start the node tree, which texture coordinates I have to use?

I would be very happy about every tip or strategy to manage it.

Separate RGB after a noise gives you three outputs of same noise characteristics. You could use that to drive the red and green splotches. Combining two noise textures (different settings) in allows you to drive one noise with the other (where dense noise appears is controlled by low density noise). I might even try Musgrave if noise is too uniform, but this can be a pain to control for color output (you need a manually driven normalization node group) although you can preview the output as a bump effect without any problems.

If the “marbly” stretches are required you have to set up a node system for that as well and mix them together.

Shading wise it looks like a rough dielectric, so a PBR shader may be a good starting point.

I would use object or generated coordinates as they are relatively easy to control and doesn’t cause any seam issues for builtin texture generators. If shape shifting, UV approach is required. You could also unwrap UV and hand paint, or clone from image (but it contains shading information).

but my result still looks very unrealistic and faraway from the material of the amphore.
It is very hard for me to understand the tips you told to me.
I tried two different ways and experimented a lot. I used noise texures and tested the musgrave.
The color comes from a ColorRamp with three color stops.
I coluldnt get the Separate RGB running. Also I dont understand what the bump is for or what a PBR shader is.
Maybe you have a some more detailed way to manage it, but I am still happy about every tip.

this looks more like some sort of hand painted texture
so either find some good UV map like that
or paint one
