Tissue's Tessellate feature

Hey everyone,
I’m having some trouble with the titular feature of the Tissue addon.
I want to tessellate the base mesh on the right with the component on the left and have the component be the actual size of the mesh but instead in conforms to the size of the polygons of the base mesh.

I think i tried just about every setting combination there is. Am i missing something ?
Is there anyway i can achieve uniform tessellation with the desired size of the component? Maybe some kind of a workaround ?

It’s not possible with Tissue, unless you use bigger faces. In general I’m not sure that there is a way to do so…
An alternative can be using a displace modifier and UV mapping.
