To Desire the Unattainable

First post in a while, I made this render yesterday, took me about 2-3 hours to finish, I’m quite happy with it.

profound idea, what’s the rational?

I like the idea behind it - which is cool, since I usually don’t connect with abstract work. It might just be my monitor (the contrast on this dumb thing is uber high), but I’m thinking it could perhaps use a little more contrast? For instance if the green fairies had some noise applied or the background some variation, even a gradient. What do you think?

Camotech - I’m not a 100 % sure about what you mean, but if you’re talking about the idea behind it:
As the title says it’s basicly about the human desire to have the unattainable, or, how we all want what we can’t have.

Anayo - I think I know what you’re talking about, the halo’s “stick out” to much, they should be more incorperated (spelling) into the scene. Any suggestions on how to do that? (except enhancing the background, I want it to be black
