Toggle selected outline in game

ive figured out the whole box select thing… now i want to show that an object is selected by outlineing the object like a selected object in the blender interface would be… how can you do this?

Make a box with a material that has wireframe enabled, then just set its worldPosition to that of the selected box via python.

although not very elegent that is clever. instead ill use invisiablity properties though. thanks!

Thanks Monster those look very nice. Although they take a little long to show up… the whole expanding ring thing. im going to use a cube as a phisics interacter for each object anyway so i think ill just set its material to be wireframe and toggle visablitiy. Thanks kevincorrigan

It does not matter what you use to show what is selected. It is absolutely customizable. Each object can have an own selection display.
