Toggling visibility of segments from curves

Hi Everyone. I am in the process of moving the points (vertices, segments, dots whatever you want to call them) When I go to select the point I sometimes grab a point that is behind the mesh that I am applying the curve to.

Is it possible to get points that should not be visible to not show?

bump.

Not possible I take it…

Hi jlestudios. Back when you first posted I spent quite a bit of time poking at it, and couldn’t figure any way around it.

Enable X-Ray for the Cylinder in the Object properties panel/Display.

edit: nevermind - that makes the points invidible but you can still select them.

I really appreciate everybody taking a look at it. Everyone has been so nice and helpful on this forum. We will just say that it isn’t possible for now. I might look into coding something in Python that can select one point and then allow you to go to the next point of the parent with a hot key. I just need to get my feet wet with the way Blender coding works. Thanks again.
