Too many connections to a vertex

A while ago there was a thread on here about importing from blender to Sculptris and getting an error. I found a solution. Use Meshlab (sorry) to do a VCG surface reconstruction on your object and then import into sculptris. I usually use 3 for “subvol splitting” and .2 for “geodesic weighting” . The result is a large number of meshes that must be flattened then exported to a single .obj for sculptris.

Thank you Nevil - I just had this happen to me today, and I found your response on a google search.
Trouble is, even though the .opj file is small [170kb], Meshlab crashes whenever I try to import the file.

As I’m new to virtual 3D I’m not equipped to deal with this one…
I’m using a minMac running the latest system.

hope you, or someone else, can assist.
Thanks.
