Cool stuff :o, now we don’t need to duplicate a mesh and paint it black, really usefull. I also saw that now this engine support subsurf in the game engine. Is this the game engine that will be integrated into blender at july 6th??? :-?
No, this is the first blender game engine, enji … it does not work the
same as ketski, the one that will have the solid collision detection in
July. The enji engine is easier to program stuff like this though as you
can use the blender objects directly rather than converting them
(and as a result of this the subsurfs work).
Chris
I like this stuff!
Good work done there!
Funky bot…
Hos I saw something:
Since it directly uses them you see all well everything… You can see the empties, camreas etc…
ALso where are the lines you inserted? (was it the ones with english comments)
Other then that it rocks I am sure Appy is gonna love it for his toon car game it will be useful for the game me and blengine is making
Look for the lines with OB_TOON in them in
the function ‘drawlife’ in sector.c. This was
the only modification to enji I made.
Chris
That sounds really great!! Trouble is that the enji engine is pretty useless for anything but very simple games, cos it doesn’t have python support. Would it be possible to get enji to support python? That would be useful.

hm… I didn’t even know python didn’t work…
I am spending more time to get to know enji source (2 files) which is fairly eaiser to understand then well… some 50 odd files.
