Here’s a video showing some sort of futuristic airplane thing. Nodes were used to make the night vision effect with all the noise and such, camera shaking is done with noise modifiers on the cameras animation curves.

Not bad! I would go for more grain and more green tones for the night-vis, but very cool.
Going for the effect of “cough on film” (with the sound of the dog barking)? Might go for some obstruction in the view at some point. Like a branch or power wires. Out of focus, as the effect seems to be your zoomed in a bit.
