Anyone noticed when rendering the added torus you see a strange line in the middle !?

It’s the reflection of the inner part on the inner part, nothing strange about it.
If you turn off glossy reflections for your torus…
…the line goes away (since it won’t show up in its own reflection):
That said, if you have any other glossy surfaces (a mirror, say) it won’t show up in that, either! If it really bothered you, you could set up a couple different render layer passes and combine them later on…
