Totall reboot

Since I added on zero brush I can’t import a hight map because the imported image on the plane won’t show up in the texture box. I uninstalled blender and then re-installed it, but it doesn’t seem be the virgin install as my custom interface is still there and the problem with the height map is too.

How can I totally uninstall blender and then download it as a virgin download again starting from scratch.

Thanks

I’m in windows 10 and I just went to the programs and features window clicked on Blender, it asked me if I want to uninstall, I said yes and it did.

I then went to the blender website and downloaded blender.

I then searched it on my computer and clicked the icon. But when the file opened it was the same start up file I had from before I uninstalled it. Same custom colour interface, same addons enabled and the same problem with importing hight map. I’ve been trying to solve various problems all yesterday and I was up all night. Please please help, this is going on forever.

You can also go to File -> Load factory settings

BTW, you don´t have to install Blender. You can run it without installing it.

Thanks Lumpengnom. I’ve installed installed Advance uninstaller pro and that seems to have worked http://www.advanceduninstaller.com/Blender-5ec4d30f364c15fccce32f54d783ca01-application.htm

Hi

First time Blender run/start it make folders in Your - Users/Your name/AppData/Roaming/Blender Fondation/Blender
Here are the Blender versions folders…also a config folder…- Here are the userpref.blend + startup.blend.

To remove Blender You need to delete the folders… You need to have show hidden items ticked to see Your AppData folder in Win 10.

And as Lumpengnom tell You don’t have to install Blender…Just download the Zip unpack it to a folder and run the exe…
