Tournament of Champions

Another project I’ve been working on. It will run similarily to the Gladiator game design but using characters from Marvel’s comic books. To those unfamiliar Spiderman and Ms. Marvel, I also have a Juggernaut model and look to work on possibly Dr. Doom next. The models are still all wip, but are getting pretty close to finished. My aim has been a 6 000 to 10 000 polycount and have kept in that range. Spiderman- 7 000, Juggernaut 9 000 and Ms Marvel 7 500 minus sash and hair. More at link:

looks good as long as you dont get into legal troubles

I don’t belive I have anything note worthy(it’s 2 characters in t-poses in front of a grey building on a big, green field). I posted solely for the sake of critiqing. If it were to develop into anything functional, I would look into securing rights and such. As is, I don’t think it’s an infringement they would make a big adieu about. However, if they do offend, just let me know and I’ll pull them. I’m not looking to step on any toes. The only feedback I’ve gotten is from biased family and friends and am looking for feedback from what I consider unbiased peers. Thanks.

Updated pics.

Well I’ve spent the last little while taking a deep look into such subjects as anatomy, topology artistic styles and proportions and really studied piles of images, models, videos and watched and read many tutorials. After all that I really comtemplated starting from scratch, but the thought of all the time and effort put into the existing models really weighed against such an idea. About two weeks ago, entirely out of curiousity I began modelling a person just to see how much I could do in an evening. That went surprisingly well and snowballed into a completely new Ms. Marvel model. I am much happier with these results. I realized I’m getting much faster with the modelling and texturing process. The current mesh looks more polished and has a considerably lower face count (4866 to 7588 on the old mesh). I’ve included a before and after and as I’ve mentioned my brother is working on 2D art so I’ve also included an almost coompleted load screen of the Juggernaut.
