Hi, I’d like to know whether it’s possible in Blender to turn a 2D flat toon character (like the ones freely available at freepiks f.ex.) into a 3D one. I guess it supposes some form of texture mapping but can this be easily done on such source material? Thanks for any hints on this particular use case.
If you model the mesh in the shape of your character you can use the image to be projected on the mesh surface and then you can bake your texture. But this projection will only work for the front side of your model, of course.
