Transformation Woes

For some reason when I select the faces of certain objects I cant transform them in any way without really abnormal results. For instance if i select a face and hit G it throws the face backward (away from the camera) by about 20 units. If i try to scale it throws vertices in odd directions. If i try to rotate it scales too! I really have no idea whats going on.

The exceptions to this is if i use a preset view from the numpad in ortho. Then i can USUALLY transform ok. Even using the transformation handles instead of the hotkeys renders the same result. As soon as i click the arrows/rotation rings/scale bars the face freaks out.

I’m using Graphicall.org’s rev-15379M. And Need to use it since it has to work with a macro for importing DXF files that Migius wrote for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
