Hi there,
I hope someone can help me with this issue I have with blender 2.90 as I am quite new to Blender and do not know much about it’s „crazy“ functions.
My goal: For a short Intro Video animation, I want to morph a text logo into 2 different shapes, starting with one shape, morph to the second and then morph to the final shape.
I have three .svg files, each showing the same text logo, but have slightly different shapes.
These files represent the three different morphing stages.
As a beforehand test I did the following in Blender:
- adding 3 text objects
- give each object a bit depth (extrude) and bevel
- Convert them to mesh
- gave them a bit of a different shape
- placed „Stage 2“ on top of „Stage 1“, as morphing should be on the same location
- used shrinkwarp modifier on „Stage 1“ and tried different settings
The problem is, that is is not working properly. As you can see in the picture, the second „O“ is morphed properly, but the „T“ and the „l“ remain uneffected
As even this is not working, I did not try using my original svg-shapes as they are more complex than these ones in my example.
Unfortunately, I am not skilled enough to investigate the problems here.
I can shrinkwarp a cube into a sphere but maybe there is better solution for transforming „words“ than using the shrinkwarp modifier.
What do you think?
