Transparency problems.

Its been a while since I used the game engine. Waiting for a new graphics card. Now Ive got one, the speed is up so I have been trying to convert some old blends while I get the hang of it again.
The first thing I noticed while converting materials to glsl is that my alpha mapped transparent materials are only visible from one dirrection in the world space. Is this a known bug, or is there a work round, or am I doing somthing wrong with my set up.

This is with one sun lamp. two sideded, double sided.

Omg, I have this same problem, I thought it was my card!
