Transparent overlapping textures causing black artifacts in render

Hi,

Newbie here, apologies if this is in the wrong place. Also sorry for the vague title, not sure how to summarize this issue.

As seen in the image the leaves are on a single texture which I just put on either side of the branch. However the back faces are causing black pieces to be visible.

At a complete loss, and this effects the leaves when placed manually or via particle system.
I’ve tried disabling shadows in object properties > cycles settings , but it doesn’t do much.

Appreciate any solutions or guidance
Cheers!

You have stacked more transparent planes behind each other than the render depth for transparency is set to. Therefore light can not pass through after that:

Increase that value and all should work.
BTW, forum search is your friend: This has been asked many many times already…

For future support questions please ALWAYS supply a demo blend that clearly demonstrates the problem.
This is the MINIMUM requirement for ALL support questions. Please make this small effort in the future !

Thank you for the reply man I appreciate it. Fixed the issue. That’s annoying though cause I searched the crap out of this. Enough to rekindle this ancient account haha. Thank you though and i’ll be more diligent next time.
And i’ll include the file as commented below
