Triangle Counter???

Does blender have a button somewhere to show total triangles or polygons in current scene. I know the decimator shows tris. for active object, but I don’t always want to add up every object’s count to find my current count. I would like to know so I can keep an active budget for the game engine.

Thank you,
Jared

On the top bar in Blender, to the right, there is a list of that kind of stuff. Ve:# | Fa:# | Ob:# - # |, where # is the number of whatever. It changes accordingly if your in edit mode or object mode.

For faces, ctrl_t will convert to triangles, and then you can see the “number of faces” which will give you the number of tris…

ctrl+u will undo the conversion to triangles…

Best way I have discovered so far…

Oh nO!

I meant just the U-KEY, not Ctrl+U… :stuck_out_tongue:

I just caught that… oops…
