Triangulate modifier in 4.2

Hello!

In 4.2 triangulate modifier does not have “Keep normals” check box

How can I make the triangulate modifier not affect the shading?

I think it keeps the normals intact… So to say, it’s its default behaviour.

In Blender 4.3 the “Keep normals” check box is back.

Developers changed the core Triangulate operator to support custom normals.
But that work for GN but did not work for modifier, in all cases.
They have to investigate.
So, they restored the option in main branch.
That fix should be available in future 4.2.1 LTS update.
