Tribute to an Artist (Steinway D and Epiphone Wildkat)

I’ve been working on this, on and off, for the past month or so. Maybe there’ll be more to come, but I’m just gonna call it done for now. I wonder if anyone here knows the artist to whom this image is tribute!! If you know, definitely comment
but yeah, you’re free to critique of course! Go for it!

Looks really cool! As far as criticism goes, I don’t have too much. I would suggest that you rotate the piano a little clockwise (around the z axis of course), as the angle might be a little more interesting. As far as the guitar goes, smooth out the body a little more (the edges are visible on some of the curved portions), and the space between the frets gets smaller too late. In other words, there should be a more even transition between the fret spacing.

But great work, overall!

EDIT: Didn’t pay attention to the “Artist Tribute” at first :stuck_out_tongue: Is it a tribute to Regina Spektor, by chance?

Thanks for the critiques! Yes, I agree, some of the areas on the guitar body are not smooth enough. Will fix soon! And good idea about the angle. It should add some interest, considering that the steinway logo that is on the side will become more visible.

YES! It is indeed a tribute to Regina! You win a cookie! XD (I was initially planning on modeling a chair and stick as well, but that idea hasn’t panned out yet. It might in the future though!)
