Have now made the pedals bigger and figured out how to use the curve modifier to model the handlebars , i think modelling is pretty much finished now.
That’s awesome! And I like the material you use to render.
A little update, have remodeled the handlebars and stem and started adding some textures. (No AO for render speed reasons)
the model is excellent, here’s a little advice on the seat texture though:
you need a better blend from rust to paint…i would advise burning the edges of the rust a bit…or making it gradually go out into the white.
Thanks for the advice nehpets , its my first bit of proper uv texturing so theres plenty of room yet for improvements.
Another atempt at textureing.
WOW! Very cool…The modeling is great, and I like where you are going with the textures…
The handle bars look sweet…How did you get the ridges? You said something about the curve modifer?
keep it up!
cheers::bc
frenzymedia - Yea i modeled the bars as a straight tube then aplyed a curve modifier, any ridges on the bars is from a normap but if you meant the ridges on the bar grips they are modeled
This is good, quality modeling, with great attention payed to detail. Lately more and more people have been paying less and less atention to detail(not that that’s a bad thing). Well, anyway, good job so far.
Needs a pin or a bolt holding the seat pole in place on the frame. Seems like the one I had, had a nut welded to the frame and a “L” shaped bolt/handle that you truned to hold it in place.
Nice looking model.
Finished Textureing , Larger render
nice effect with all the rust. good job.
I really love your tricycle …I am trying to make one myself… yours is WOW ! I have a problem animating the wheels. my goal is to turn the handle bars and have the wheel turn, then I would like to turn the wheels and key frame the movments so the tricycle is moving.
If you know how or can tell me where I can learn …please let me know … Mark Thanks !
a tricycle or a tribike? coz tricycle refers to a 3 wheeled motorcycle (well in the Philippines)
