Tried making a bridge, this is as close as i could get. GF thinks its something straight out of an anime because it looks like a drawing… i went for realisme lol. I’d expect a bit better after few months of blender tutorials though. What do you think?

Tried to make the red paint thingy myself in substance designer.

The drawing look your GF is referring to is probably due to sharp edges. Wooden planks or beams never have sharp edges in real life.

Fair Point that I indeed missed. I should put in a small bevel! I’ll round the corners a bit
