Well I don’t know of any tutorials, but if it’s just for a still image, you could do it all with procedurals.
Is that supposed to be water in the bottom of the canyon? If so, then I’m not really liking the material on it; it looks more like glassy rocks. Correct me if it is something else.

Hey man.Here is a very basic tutorial about UV.Just use the option Unwrap (new Blender) instead of LSCM - you will understand.
