I’m working on a game based on a hexagonal grid, but I’m having problems aligning the individual tiles. I checked “snap to closest vertex”, but the object seems to align the origin point to the closest edge instead. I’m sure I’m missing something, but can’t tell what.
So far, I’ve been able to align individual hexes by changing their origin points, moving the cursor to a vertex on another tile and shift+s/ selection to cursor, but it seems more like a workaround than a solution.
What am I missing?
P.S: tried to upload a .gif showing the problem or linking to it on tinypic, but I got a message saying “invalid flie type”. No idea how to solve that one, either!
