So, i build this cathedral and i’m trying to UV map the bricks texture but i’m having a hard time doing it. because the building has so many corners there is no easy way to unwrap it. so i did it in steps. front side, left side, top, bottom and the pillars. the problem now is that the bricks don’t align. especially on the pillars. is there a better or easier way i can unwrap this building? without having scaling problems and such?
wow nice model I would have unwraped as I modelled it (pice by piece ), hope you get it sorted it will look great with some nice textures
I’d suggest looking into UVProject modifier and 4 projector planes - one for each building side.
