I once had an installation of Blender 2.77 zip and after installing ‘loop tool add on’ (I didn’t realize 2.77 had this). 2.77 would load with only a ‘black screen’ with no way of getting to the main screen. I have gotten information from Blender Cookie Community with Dennis Brown and with his help have done many things - deleted all folders with Blender 2.77 zips. I then tried Blender 2.77 .msi and when double clicking ‘blender.exe, blenderplayer.exe’ see a command screen briefly with information but unable to capture it . I am at a loss of what to do, I am currently using Blender 2.69 with no issues. Your suggestions will be appreciated. :no:
Sounds like the looptools addon is causing the issue so delete the blender folders in “C:\Users[yourusernamehere]\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.77”. Then reinstall blender with the .msi installer.
