Trouble with normal map

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to create an oil painting in blender for a interior architecture scene. To do so i took an image i found online and create the normal, spec maps using crazy bump.

Here are two images of my nodes with and without the normal vector connected.

Without normals:


With normal:


From what I’ve seen my nodes for the normal map should be correct. Am i missing something?

Connect the output of the normal map node to the Normal input of the Diffuse shader, not the vector input of the texture node
Also for the texture node used for the normal map, change from ‘Color’ to ‘Non Color Data’
