A quick question. I have just started using Blender and am having a bit of difficulty with textures.
I have a model that has multiple objects that make up the whole character. Each object has its own material and diffuse color. I created a uv texture for the head of the character, but for some reason, the image used for the face of the head is being rendered all over the body.
I have an alpha channel on the texture.
Any advise?
Thanks for any tips and/or suggestions.
If I knew how to upload the blend file, I would if it helped anyone out.
Thanks again for any information.
I think I managed to resolve the issue. I had the uv set on the world tab (if that’s the correct term).
I have no idea how I managed to mess that one up. Chalk it up to being a noob.
Here’s to getting back to it later tonight.
Thanks.
You can try to upload your model here :
http://www.pasteall.org/blend/
But remember to pack the texture in your blend (go to the uv/image editor load the texture and click Image -> Pack Image) , then when you save that .blend, to reduce its size, click on File -> Save As and in the right bottom corner, enable “Compress”.
Thanks for the tip.
I think I have it ironed out. We’ll see today - if I get a chance to get back to it being Mother’s Day and all.
