Troubles with Water Animation map

After getting through almost all of the tutorial done one realtime water by the YoFrankie team,

I got stuck on making animation maps work in Blender 2.5. The tilling option is very vague and I haven’t found a good answer on how it’s supposed to work. So I downloaded 2.49 so that I could do the animation map in the way shown in the video, easy. The water worked in its file, but when I added it to a group and linked to it from other files, after pressing p to play the game and then maximizing any window (ctrl-up), the screen goes crazy! The words all become indecipherable and everything looks weird. I suppose that this is just a tangent, my real question is how do you make tiling animation maps work in 2.5, but still, crazy :eek:
Any help is appreciated, the attached file is of the chaos that I mentioned.

Hi. I also can’t find a window or a key for the tiling animation. My solution for this is to open the Outliner window. Switch there form All Scenes to Datablocks. Then open Textures --> your texture --> Image --> your Image and ther you can find animation propertis.
I tried also linked the animation and it is working on my computer (Windows XP 32bit. Blender 2.54).

Yes, this is a very annoying bug with using animated normal maps of any kind in blender 2.5+. All I know to do is to wait for them to fix it.

Thanks, it looks like it works now in 2.55, the animation map section didn’t seem to work at all before (In one of the earlier 2.5 releases).
