This is based on something i saw recently and thought it would make a good render 
i just started texturing today… i had to clean up the modeling a lot but i think its good now. PLEASE let me know what you think and how I can improve it!
Good modeling, but the perspective is boring. I’d much rather see it from an angle where you get some better shadows and can see the side of the truck as well as the back.
nice model but i agree it would be nice to see a view of the whole truck and to put it into a cool scene.
well for one thing, there isnt a rest of the truck… but i like the angle because i was driving behind the truck when i saw it. i guess the focus, and the interesting part, is supposed to be the danger diamond thing but i dont really know how to bring it out. i plan to put it on top of a shot of a road or something like that and hopefully it will look neat. so for now im focusing on how i can improve the shot i have here but more specifically the textures but any tips are welcome and wanted
EDIT: quick update… i’ve been working to do this with procedurals and I finally just got it! i think i finally have the hang of that stencil feature well here it is: (hint: look at the tailpipe)

How about a texture like this type of metal (don’t know what it’s called)?
where do you think it should be placed? usually its on surfaces that need a little more grip so maybe like the top of the bumper or something? well heres another quick update… i rusted the crap out of it. i want a very old and broken down look but im afraid i might have gone a little overboard
that metal you posted is called diamond plate and it is used on just about everything for the sole reason it looks cooler than regular sheet metal, im sure there is some deal about there being slightly more strength but thats not important, and it would probably make up some bumpers on the bottom of the doors, and the ledge. not 100% sure, but it would probably be where ppl would step because its meant for grip, the door bumpers just came to mind not sure why, but i cant find any good pics so hopefully my shotty explanation is good enough.
edit: if you just search diamond plate in google you can find about a million textures of all kinds, real easy stuff.
id put it on the box of the truck, you know what i mean? the part thats not the door, not sure if i explained that well
if you want to keep the perspective looking at the back of the truck mybey you can make it turnin so you are looking at the back of it but you see the front to the side of you:eyebrowlift2: . and you can add that caution wide left turns sign.
hmm… i kind of like the turning idea. ill think it over as for the diamond plate, its normally not used all over something like a truck but only in specific areas. heres the image that i used for reference and i dont see any of the diamond plating but im still not opposed to using it. but i know that usually it isnt used all over one thing
oh the cautions wide left/right turn sign is only on 18 wheelers
i thought that truck was an 18 wheller but i see that kind it is now
