I browsed the CA issue #85 in the store today, and noticed that it had trueSpace 3.2 with it… Has anyone used that program? Is it any good, and most of all, is it worth 15e?
No, you don’t have to give away 15 pills:

It isn’t a bad program, but I really don’t like the interface. You can download it for free at http://www.caligari.com/products/truespace/ts3/
It’s got some cool features, like the physics stuff, ray-tracing, and shaders. Eye-rotate pretty much sucks. That’s probably the biggest fault I have with it.
But you can set up your short-cut keys to match Blenders, which makes it not so bad.

I found it to be unstable, but it’s got a half decent renderer. You have to go to Caligari afterwards and get the serial number.
After using Blender couldn’t we all say the same about every other 3D program?
