I have downloaded Blender 2.49b and Yafaray 0.1.1. When installing Yafaray it asks for the Blender scripts directory, but when i select it, it comes back with “invalid directory”. I reckon this is because blender isnt installed on the system, it’s just in a folder on my desktop is if it was some sort of crackware or something. How do i install it? The first Blender I ever got (2.61) installed normally and works perfectly. Ever since then every Blender I D/L comes in a ‘mobile’ version. Which means i can never install addons properly, and im left wondering how windows manages to work the cache/temp files correctly.
