Does anyone know of a decent prog that converts true type fonts to type 1 fonts for use withen blender? If not, is someone interested in writting one? This would be a VERY useful tool to the Blender community I think.

i thought blender 2.28 is able to use true type fonts?

Not a problem. BTW check out my post on fonts in News and Chat. I guess I put it in the wrong forum. pardons! Title of post is ‘font experiment’ :wink:

Yup, and Type 1 PostScript, and OpenType, and a couple of other formats too :slight_smile: This was added in 2.27.
