Tube from curves addon?

Not sure if this noob question is really for here but I was reading about comparisons in 3D software and it was mentioned there was a tube mesh creation from curves addon for Blender i,e make a curve and then a tube/pipe is created.

Searched for it but cannot find it, not sure I know what I am looking for. Any kind soul point me in right direction.

You can use a second curve to use as a curve bevel object http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Modeling/Curves#Geometry

Or for a simple circular pipe/wire change the Fill option to ‘Full’ and increase the bevel depth and resolution

Thanks Richard, the second option (basic fill) is exactly what I needed.
