tuhopuu blender

hi guys i got a simple question.

in ztonzy’s tutorial for jelly like materials i found the “tuhopuu blender”

https://blenderartists.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12691

version which includes as awesome feature that i searched SOOO long in blender. it is the “lock track” constraint for armatures.
this is very usefull for things like robotic links or turrets on spaceships.

for those who dont know what i mean download the tuhopuu blender (e.g. http://www.silentthunder.de/files/tuhopuu-blender.zip) and a simple turret contraint build up
http://www.silentthunder.de/temp/turretmovement.blend

so my question:
what can i do or where do i have to vote for adding this in the next official blender version?

UUUUAAAHHHHH I AM SO HAPPY GUYS !!!
fuck maya i’ll do my homeworld2 stuff in blender :D:D

You don’t have to vote, it’s going to be in the official Blender sometime in the near-ish future. Cessen’s been a bit busy lately though, so we’ll have to wait until he gets time to integrate it.

Thanks, it always feels great to see that sort of reaction.

Good to know, good to know.

The feature is very nice, though you didn’t have to wait for it. With a bit of imagination, you can achieve the same with a help Empty and the ‘Copy Location’ constraint with one coordinate turned off.

That only works when tracking on one of the standard plane (XoY, XoZ, YoZ).
