Turkish deligh Lokum modelling

Hi, I need a help about modelling technique of Turkish delight. I know that its more than texturing. How can I do modelling or any advance stuff. Thanks beforhand.

can you get high res photos for the different sides of these objects and then use it as UV maps

otherwise you be done with topology but more complicated and very high res

I really want the most realistic render for Lokum. I think I have to take pics and then Displace it with high res model. Or is there other way?
