Turkish Tea Caustics

Used Luxcore Renderer for the caustics. Merged it with the Cycles render afterwards. Hope you like!

Hi,

Good caustics, but for me, wrong caustics. I am a Turk and I never see caustics like this. This is too high and problematic. Normally tea cup creates caustics and tea affects this caustics a bit. But for this, caustics of the tea higher than caustics of the cup, and I think this is wrong.

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!

Nice job, @ibotpl ! Can you share your workflow for the caustics? Have you made a simplified version for LuxCore and rendered the caustics pass only?

Thank you!
Yes, i removed all materials and added only the glass and liquid materials. Then turned on Light Tracing and set it to 100% (CPU Render btw), so it only renders caustics, which will be denoised when finished.
