Turning donut method

Hi! I used bones weight the object control the way I want as the video demo I show. but my way of doing it takes so much works. Later need to do similar ways a lots. Is there are many setting already exist in blender that do the same things?

You could subdivide a cylinder, create a bone at its center, parent the cylinder With Automatic Weight:


Give your cylinder a Simple Deform/Bend modifier, 360° on the Z:

Now if your rotate the bone in Pose mode it will rotate the whole cylinder:
