I seem to have this one in a new project.
when i want to implement fakeGI and turn on shadows the render will go black, while without the shadows setting the render is good.
What could be wrong?

how are your lamp settings for ClipSta and ClipEnd
I think everything is beyond your clipEnd
try selecting one of the lamps, and pressing [control]+[numpad 0] to make it your camera
can you see anything through it?
change your clip values so that you can
select you camera, and press [control]+[numpad 0] again, then try rendering
yeah, your absolutely right, about a half a hour after posting this i also discoverd it.
din’t knew about the camera thing though
could be helpfull.
btw, another fakeGI specific question.
is it neceserry to have a spotlight right above your object so that all the other lamps will point towards your object. (with the duplivert + rot techniek (dunno if there is another realy))
i think it’s quite often making the shadows go away for some reason.
(i do have shadows turned on offcourse)
