Turntable animation problem

I was trying to make a turntable animation of my shuriken but it seemed like it was moving in a strange direction. Like it kept moving upside instead of sideways if that makes sense. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it? Here’s a screenshot of it.

can be a lot of reasons. Please share the blend file. It can be a simplified one - it just should replicate your problem.

i am not sure, how you wanna turn it, but if you e.g. just wanna have a z-rotation, go in graph editor, select x rotation, press x to delete, select y rotation, delete it. result:

just z rotation
