Are there any free classes or tutor programs that can help me learn blender beyond the tutorials and video tutorials. I have learned alot but that is not going to help me get to the proffessional level? I am just looking for something that is interactive with someone to point out all the things i do wrong or can be better. Thank all so far you have been very helpful in my blender experience and it is my favorite program.
AFAIK, no. there isn’t.
just practice and go hang around in the blender support forums. you’ll learn a lot.
Where are you located?

My studio periodically offers workshops in Richmond, Virginia. So far, all of our workshops have been introductory-level, though I think we’ll be offering an advanced topics workshop some time next month. They’re not free, but they are much cheaper than workshops on nearly any other application. If you’re interested and think you can make it, send me a PM or an email to info -at- handturkeystudios.com.

Otherwise, I know that there are a few people who give lessons via Skype+VNC would might be able to help you.
It’s best to view using your computer as a vehicle to manifest whatever goals etc. that you have in mind. Anything you learn as far a operating the Blender software features, the 3d art process etc. is only a beginning step. Each step that you take toward realizing your goals must be handled on a case by case basis. In this “case” you are just starting out. You want to get a grasp of the basics while you create something tangible. In other words start with a “real” project plan. Be this a story, just an idea, etc. plan something out. Use the Blender software to work out the details of your project plan. The more project details that you complete the more you will learn.
Sketch out your ideas on paper or write them down. Just do whatever it takes to get the project going. Then use Blender to create each element of your project. Ask the Blender community for help as you progress. Before you know it you will be rendering out a completed 3d project scene render in Blender. Jump into it. Also explore Blender’s features with example .blend files. Learn by example and learn by practicing the process. This is the way most 3d artist learn how to create 3d art.
Above all have as much fun as possible while you work everything out.![]()
