This is part I : the absolute vertex keys. Applicable to meshes, lattices, curves, surfaces and possibly your dog why not. It is better to understand them before going RVK also.
Thanks Trepido : I’m slowly getting the hang of it but I am also getting a lot of help from a lot of people.
It is Jean-Luc Songa Butera who told me about the no fee/no bother program Wink ( http://debugmode.com ) which I use for the Flash animations.
And Jean-Michel Soler (Povanim) who woke me up when I was leaving the impression that only absolute vertex keys could be used for other types than meshes.
So silver_hook you’re not the only one learning here ! Indeed, learning is my first motivation for making the tuts !
Which brings me to Odlin : complex armatures and nice uvmapping I still have to master if I ever can.
That should be in a FAQ somewhere ?
This is very cool! I didn’t read the knife tut because I saw FLASH (instant synapse response to the backspace button). But this level of flash beats HTML and Viewlet and could become a standard for tuts. Thanks for taking the trouble! And, yes, the info is also relevant. Now I will no longer read IamInnocent but IanInnovator.
Thanks but as I said someone pointed me to Wink first so I am still innocent, even of my good deeds !
It a good idea to witness that even if someone hate Flash (and sometimes I do) it is worth using in this case. You did well there !
Now if I could invent the ‘Relative Keys’ button for the curves that would be something. I was pointed to the one in the meshes (which I didn’t need) and I found those for lattices and surfaces but nothing for curves : may it be that the tab is too small ? Can it be stretched somehow (j/k)
