Tutorial video: ZBrush-like "shadow box" in Blender (assemble an object from shadows)

Hey folks. This is my first video tutorial, and it covers a technique for building fairly complicated objects by making shadows on the X, Y, and Z planes. Apologies if I ramble a bit. :slight_smile:

I watched it twice and I still have no idea how to use it. Could you give a practical example of the purpose of this method?

It is just using a boolean operation to create the intersection of three meshes, one for each view. For any complex shapes expect a lot of mesh cleanup
