Twig from Hilda fanart

I finished the second season of Hilda yesterday. Such a wonderful series. I loved every single episode! I wanted to test Blender’s grooming system in a short project. This little fluff ball “Twig” was the result. The grooming system of Blender still holds up, but I am excited about the new node based one though.

Haha, thanks!
Not yet, but there will be a new hair object type in the near future, and it’ll be node based. It’s going to be amazing!

Thanks for the links!
Looks really promising! I too am making fury characters, which up until now I didn’t had courage to add “real fur” to them, but with this new implementation it should be possible!

You’re welcome
I have tested the grooming system for this reason on this short project. The tools are solid and still hold up. But there is much to improve on. Give it a try

This tv show is indeed a great one. The style is amazing, the story is kinda original, a true breath of fresh air. And this piece is amazing, I loved this one episode.

It’s a good cartoon on netflix, I haven’t seen the 2nd season yet. I really like how you made the fox though.
