How I can put two cams in a window to simulate a rear-view mirror in a racer game for example?
Huh???
You can’t. At least not with Blender versions >= 2.25…
2.23???
Are so many question marks really necessary?
If I remember correctly you need the BGL module to do this, which is currently disabled in the latest versions. I’m sure someone else can explain this in greater detail, and there have been posts on this in the past if you search.
wiseman303 says it isn’t disabled, it is just that it has no effect usually
you can’t do it … search for my split screen stuff to see what was possible in 2.23
edit:
what I would like to see (which would make this possible) is a viewport actuator, which could essentially have the same effect (overlay viewport, background viewport to determine drawing order) but without the multiple scene python hack
Has anyone tried out the latest test build, supposedly blender module support is back?
2.33a doesn’t have it
my 5-26-04 build (I don’t plan on updating my cvs for a while…) has it though
/me tests alpha testing test
alpha testing works as did before
/me tests 2.23 splitscreen test
works as did in 2.25 and later (as in: doesn’t work)
