Two different kinds of lightning at one render

Hi guys! Recently I’ve been doing some… thought experiments on lightning. Imagine a sunny day in a village, kids playing on tracks, butterflies and barking dogs. Have that? But, there’s something that doesn’t fit to the picture - a dark castle, covered with mist, in the dark, with gloomy colour palette. Only the castle. The est of the village is whole in a sunlight.
Is this possible to achieve this result in one scene, without joining two different renders?

Yes it is. Lights have ‘this layer only’ option, but typically it’s done by separating the elements on their own render layers and combining in the compositor, which also allows adjustments on each separately after rendering.

Thank you for your advice  That should work, I’ll try this evening
