hello. i was wondering how to assign two separate materials to each side of a plane mesh. thanks for any ideas
Materials are assigned baised on vertex groups. So you need to add depth to your plane.
with extrude or something?
If you want a different texture on the front and back of a face you can use the Geometry node http://www.blender.org/development/release-logs/blender-246/shading-nodes/
There was a lot of questions about it so just use search forum tool.
