Two uv maps to make good effects?


Does anyone know how to do the technique where you can combine two uv maps and apply them to one object?

I’ve seen it before. Say you have a block of marble with a marble texture applied to it, and you wanted to apply another uv map to make a reflective surface to make it look polished or something, like a uv map with a picture of a diner only made to look like a bubble reflection in the uv editor? Does anyone know what I’m talking about?


you can’t use more than one set of uv coords per face

but that isn’t what you meant

you can apply multiple textures… you seen to be asking about applying a texture using nor [normals] or refl [reflection] coordinates in add mode [each texture has a blend mode over the previous texture]

you’d almost never want to uv map for a marble texture
