Where’s the tire tread?
Been tweaking the materials a bit?
Look at Michelin Radial Tyres. Where is the tire tread? . Be patient. It’ll be full textured model when i finish modeling of all details.
I did it but without good result. Radius=1.00 MaxDelta=0.040 . What setings are you proposing?

Yes a bit;).I’m still working on good copper and bronze , look at this http://rhino3d.com/gallery/images/foggy.jpg materials just rocks.I have to do it better with blender and yafray. I won’t rest until i do it!

So are you using a Pathlight for this? Either way, if you are, try increasing the samples to about 16. That should help the grain.

I’m using hemilight with setting 5 [25] samples [yablex] . Higher setting for pathlight and hemi is
to clean and to sterile. I like hdri grain. I can get better quality of shadows and soften grain with the change from pointlight to softlight with 5000000 of photons and search 4000 in caus at my remaked yablex.py.
OK. I’m not a big fan of the grain, so that’s just my preference. Maybe turn the samples up to about 8 then. You should still get some grain, but more clarity as well.

The modeling of this bike is so damn brilliant that It saddens me to hear that you actually like the noise…I think it looks horrible myself and I try every method I can to try and avoid it.

Ok. I’ll make next version cleaner. I’m still waiting for any sugestions (color of finall bike;) .
Well, for the final colour, the red you have looks great. I wouldn’t change it.
