Ubuntu beta or the final version?

Hi guys,

I’m still looking into Linux and blender, I was wondering though as I’m testing Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (beta 2) - If I keep installing the updates, will this essentially be the same as downloading the final version that comes out at the end of the month (29th April), or will I have to download that and install it instead.

Probably seems a bit of a stupid question, but I just want to be sure.

Yes, though expect some early bugs. There is always something that needs fixed in the first few weeks.

Good stuff organic, yeah, I thought there’d be some issues early on - it’s not on my main machine for now anyway :wink:
